Flights

There are many airlines that provide flights both to and from Menorca and quite often or not at a very good price. If you are prepared to look for some really good deals it could mean flying out with one airline and back with a different one.

All flights to Menorca land at the islands airport in Mahon and due to the size of the island it means that you are never really that far away from any resort or town.

If you are flying from London Gatwick, the flight time is just under two hours. There are however a number of different airports within the UK that offer flights to Menorca.

All arrivals come through on the ground floor of the terminal building and there is a hall with six baggage reclaim carousels. If you are departing, after you have checked in there are two departure lounges, one for Inter Island traffic and the other for International flights.

You can easily hire a car when you arrive at the airport (remember however its usually cheaper to pre-book so see our car hire page). There are a number of different companies available to chose from.

If you prefer a taxi to your destination on the island, again this is very easy and all taxis can be found just outside the main arrivals hall.

There is a bus service that runs every 30 minutes throughout the day from the airport into Mahon bus station where you can then transfer to most resorts and towns on the island.
